Jim is a licensed Real Estate Broker, a Certified Public Accountant (inactive), and a licensed General Contractor.  He is a graduate of the School of Mortgage Banking offered by the Mortgage Bankers Association of American and a graduate of California State University Sacramento from which he holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.  He formerly worked at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Company, CPA firm.  Jim serves on the Board of Directors as Vice Chairman of Exchange Bank, a community bank with assets of approximately $1.6 billion.  Jim also serves as a Trustee of the Doyle Trust which distributes scholarships to students attending the Santa Rosa Junior College.  He has been involved with the sale, development, construction and financing of properties over the past thirty-four years ranging from single family to multi-million dollar commercial loans, construction loans, and joint venture transaction.

Jim and his wife, Kellye, have four school aged children.  In his free time Jim enjoys golf, hunting and skiing with his family and coaching his kid’s sports.

The backbone of any good Mortgage Loan Agency lies in their support personnel.  Liz has been an employee with Ryan Mortgage Company for over 30 years and has in depth knowledge of loan processing.  Her duties include not only loan processing, but credit analysis and analysis of underwriting guidelines for residential home loans for conventional  conforming and non-conforming loans.  She works hand in hand with our loan consultants to insure a smooth process for borrowers.

Susie has been employed by Ryan Mortgage Company since August 1992. The voice behind the phone, Susie assists with loan processing as well as serving as receptionist, and administrative assistant.  If your loan consultant is not available, Susie can often help answer your questions.
